What is Delta-9 THC?

Delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, commonly called Delta-9 THC or simply THC, is one of the many naturally occurring cannabinoids found in cannabis and hemp.

Unlike CBD, Delta-9 THC can produce psychoactive effects.

How someone experiences THC depends on several factors, including the amount consumed, individual sensitivity and tolerance, product format, metabolism and the other cannabinoids in the formula.

That’s why we believe a thoughtful approach matters.

Hemp-Derived THC vs. Cannabis-Derived THC

Here’s something that can initially be confusing:

Delta-9 is Delta-9.

The primary distinction between hemp-derived and marijuana-derived Delta-9 THC is the source of the cannabinoid and how the product is regulated.

Our new products are formulated using hemp-derived cannabinoids and are designed to meet applicable federal hemp requirements.

State laws governing hemp-derived THC vary, which is why Mary’s does not ship these products to every state.

Items cannot currently be shipped to:AL, CA, CO, ID, IA, KS, MD, NJ, NY, OH, TN, VA.

CBD vs. THC: What’s the Difference?

CBD: Non-intoxicating

CBD is a cannabinoid found in hemp and cannabis that does not produce the intoxicating effects associated with THC. It can be used on its own or combined with other cannabinoids as part of a broader cannabinoid routine.

Delta-9 THC: Psychoactive

Delta-9 THC interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system differently than CBD and can produce psychoactive effects. The experience can vary significantly depending on serving size and individual sensitivity.

New to THC? Start Low. Go Slow.

Everyone responds to cannabinoids differently.

If you're new to Delta-9 THC or unsure of your tolerance, begin conservatively.

1. Start Low

Begin with the lowest recommended serving on the product label.

2. Give It Time

Different delivery methods have different onset times. Avoid taking additional servings simply because you don't notice an effect immediately.

3. Pay Attention

Notice how you feel and become familiar with your individual response before adjusting your serving.

4. Plan Ahead

Use THC products in a comfortable environment and avoid driving, operating machinery or performing activities requiring full alertness after use.

Remember: More isn't necessarily better. Finding the amount that's appropriate for you is part of creating a personalized cannabinoid routine.

What Should I Expect?

Cannabinoid experiences are highly individual.

Your experience can be influenced by:

• Serving size
• THC tolerance
• Body composition and metabolism
• Product format
• Food consumption
• Other cannabinoids in the formula
• Previous cannabinoid experience

Two people using the same product may experience it differently.

That's why we recommend starting conservatively and learning what works for you.

  • All Customers Must be 21+

Mary’s hemp-derived Delta-9 products are intended exclusively for adults 21 years of age or older.

  • ID Verification Required

Customers purchasing products containing hemp-derived Delta-9 THC will be required to complete a secure age verification process before purchase.

Have a valid government-issued ID available when checking out.

Our existing non-THC products can continue to be purchased without this additional verification step.

  • State Availability Varies:

Hemp THC regulations vary by state.

We restrict purchases and shipping of our Delta-9 products in jurisdictions where they are not available.

Items cannot be shipped to: AL, CA, CO, ID, IA, KS, MD, NJ, NY, OH, TN, VA.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will Delta-9 THC make me feel high?

Delta-9 THC is psychoactive and may produce intoxicating effects. The experience depends on the amount used, individual sensitivity, tolerance and product formulation.

Is hemp-derived Delta-9 different from regular THC?

Delta-9 THC is the same cannabinoid regardless of whether its source is hemp or marijuana. The distinction primarily relates to the source and regulatory classification of the product.

Will Delta-9 show up on a drug test?

It can. Products containing THC may result in a positive drug test. If you are subject to drug testing, consider this before using THC-containing products.

Can I drive after using a Delta-9 product?

No. Do not drive, operate machinery or perform activities requiring full alertness while experiencing intoxicating effects from THC.

Do I need an ID to purchase?

Yes. Purchases containing Mary’s hemp-derived Delta-9 THC products require age verification confirming that the purchaser is 21 or older.

Why can't you ship Delta-9 products to my state?

Hemp-derived THC laws vary across the United States. We restrict sales and shipping based on applicable state requirements.

Our non-THC hemp products remain available separately where permitted.

Are these products available permanently?

This collection is currently a limited-time release.

Changes to federal hemp regulations are expected to take effect in November and may affect which hemp-derived THC products can be offered nationally.

As regulations evolve, our portfolio will evolve with them.
